Who runs this hub
We are a small independent team of Dota 2 followers who wanted a clean, no-nonsense reference for The International 2026 aimed at readers in the Philippines. There is no corporate sponsor steering the coverage and no official tie to the event. We watch the same broadcasts you do, read the same announcements, and write up what is confirmed in plain English. The aim is a hub you can trust to separate fact from rumour.
How we work
Our editorial rule is simple: confirmed facts only, with everything else labelled as reported or unannounced. A tournament this far out generates a lot of speculation, and we would rather leave a table blank than fill it with guesses. When Valve publishes a date, a format change or a prize-pool figure, we update the relevant page and refresh the stamp at the top. When something has not been announced, we say so directly rather than implying we know more than we do.
We draw on the official Dota 2 channels and reputable community trackers for verification, and we cross-check numbers before publishing them. Historical figures, such as past prize pools, are presented as widely reported totals rather than to-the-cent official records. If we get something wrong, we correct it. Accuracy matters more to us than being first.
Affiliate disclosure
This site is free to read because it is funded through affiliate links. When you use our call-to-action buttons to visit SpinBetter and register, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That arrangement never changes the facts we report or the dates and figures on these pages. We recommend SpinBetter as a sportsbook for esports markets, but the choice to bet — and how much — is always yours. Please treat any wagering as paid entertainment.
Non-affiliation
This is an independent informational website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Valve Corporation, Dota 2, or The International in any way. All trademarks, game names, logos and brand identities referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and commentary. Nothing here should be read as an official communication from the tournament or its organisers.
Responsible play
We take a firm line on safer gambling. Every content page links to independent support organisations, and our guidance always stresses budgets, limits and perspective. Betting on esports should add to the excitement of an event, never become a way to chase losses. If it stops being fun, we encourage you to step away and reach out to the services listed on our responsible gaming page. You must be 18 or older to gamble.
